Würzburg Hbf platform

Is it enough time 12 minutes to make a train connection in Würzburg Hbf ?

I would like to know if it is possible to make a train connection in Würzburg Hbf with 12 minutes. I need to go from platform 2 to platform 6.
Are they far away?

It is risky

Hi Alejandra,

If the train is really in time you can make it. However, it happens that trains are a few minutes late, so the transfer time could be too short.

You have to walk down from the platform of your arrival, walk through the underpass, and walk up the steps to your platform of departure. With a lot of luggage and during busy times this might take some time.

A short transfer time is especially risky if you have booked a DB special, or you have a seat reservation and your ticket is only valid on that certain train.

Would you have to wait long if you take the next train? Personally, I wouldn't book such a connection. It would be too much stress for that all goes well.
