Hi Carol,

Gluten free is glutenfrei in German. In a restaurant explain what you cannot eat.

Ich darf keine glutenhaltigen Lebensmittel essen - I must not eat food containing gluten.

Ich kann keine Produkte essen die Weizen, Roggen, Hafer oder Gerste enthalten. - I can't eat products containing wheat, rye, oats or barley.

Enthält die Suppe/Sosse Bindemittel aus Mehl? - Does the soup/sauce contain food thickener made of flour?

Ich möchte den Fisch / das Fleisch / das Schnitzel unpaniert. - I'd like the fish / meat / Schnitzel without breadcrumbs.

..use a Delicardo foodcard, everything concerning your allergy of intolerance is written on the card and can be just given to the chef or waiter :-)
