German Rail Pass on bus services from Oberammergau to Fussen

Can the German Rail pass be used to travel on any RVO buses www.rvo-bus.de for Oberammergau to Fussen or vice versa?
Or RVO buses have separate on the spot tickets?

Hi Baks,

Although RVO is a partner of the Deutsche Bahn, I couldn't find any evidence on the RVO website that a rail pass would be accepted on their bus services.

The distance between Oberammergau and Füssen is approximately 50km, depending on the route. A return ticket from Oberammergau to Füssen costs 15,30 Euros (8,50 € one-way). You have to complete the return journey within 7 days of purchasing the ticket.

I don't know how many travel days you have on your rail pass, and what your overall travel plans are. However, when you check the RailEurope German Rail Pass fares, a travel day would cost between 30 and 60 Euros a day. In my opinion, it is not worth to use a travel day from the pass for a 15 Euro trip.
