Cinderella - Aschenputtel in German Another Cinderella illustration

Cinderella is only one of my favorite Grimms' fairytales. I had trouble deciding but I guess this is the one I read the most when I was a kid.
I love the story which I read from a book with really nice illustrations.

It is a great story to read to girls. I love the mice being turned into horses and just the whole magic happening.

Oh, by the way, I just realized why us girls love shoes so much ;)

Cinderella, Aschenputtel

Hi Brankica,

Thanks for sharing your memories.

I know what you mean, it is really hard to decide which fairytale of the Grimm Brothers is the best.

Aschenputtel, as Cinderella is known in Germany, is a tale I still remember pretty well, and not because of the shoes:).

On very bad days, when work is overwhelming and I am really down, I often say feel like Cinderella.

Rita
